Our Speaker: Joe Novenson

Joe has served as senior pastor at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee since 1996. He received his bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Rider College in 1974 and his Master of Divinity in 1978 from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. Prior to coming to LMPC, Joe served churches in Lexington, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia. In addition to his role at LMPC, Joe serves on the board of Covenant Theological Seminary and spends much time speaking and sharing around the country. Joe and his wife Barb have three children and two grandchildren.

Where is it?

Location: RUF Summer Conference is held at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat, 20016 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.

Transportation: Talk to your Campus Minister about travel arrangements. If you are traveling independently use the address above for driving directions via google maps, etc. The closest airport is the Panama City-Bay County International Airport. You will need to arrange your own transportation from the airport to Laguna Beach. Your Campus Minister or Intern may be able to help with this.

What will we do?

During the day (from after lunch to dinner) you will have time for volleyball, basketball, swimming, sailing, and of course plenty of time to sit on the beach! Summer Conference is a place for you to gather with other students from across the United States at the end of the school year for teaching, prayer, discussions, and great holiday fun with friends.

Seminars: Once again we present our seminar offerings for Summer Conference 2011 in an effort to offer you teaching that is biblical, honest, compelling, respectful, and comprehensible. Students at conference are coming from many different places, spiritually. Please know that we are not only aware of this, but we welcome and delight in this reality. We hope that these seminars give you a unique and insightful opportunity for growth and exploration of the Christian faith.

What to do I need to bring?

Pillow, bedding (sheets, blanket or sleeping bag, etc), towels, casual beach clothes, some spending money, bathing suit. You may also want to bring a notebook and a bible if you have one.

How do I register?

You can register and pay via credit card on this site by selecting the appropriate ticket type. Online registration will continue until May 3 or as long as space is available. Don't wait to register! Here are some great reasons to register early:

• There is limited space. With 100+ campuses, slots will fill up quickly.
• Early bird registration ends April 19, and the cost will increase by $40.
• If you register by April 19, you get a free t-shirt!

Alternate Payment Types: There is no mail-in registration for Summer Conference this year. If you need to pay by check, select the link to use the alternate payment methods. If you want to reserve your spot but can't afford to pay the entire cost at this time, select the "deposit" ticket. You can pay the balance at conference check-in.

On-site registration will begin at 2pm the Monday of conference and will continue as long as space is available. All balances will be due at that time and can be paid using cash, check, or credit card.

What will all of this cost?

REGISTER ON or BEFORE APRIL 19 AND **RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT**

Early Registration (on or before April 19) - $290
Late Registration (after April 19) - $330

Any balances for summer conference can be paid at the on-site check-in with cash, check or credit card.

Scholarships: Don't let the cost prohibit you from coming, as scholarships are available. Contact your Campus Minister prior to registering if you are interested in a scholarship.

Cancellation Policy: A cancellation refund will only be processed if a request is submitted using the RUF Cancellation form. Students who wish to cancel their registration may receive a full refund (minus a $50 processing fee) if they submit their request by April 30. After this date cancellations will only be processed if an unforeseen circumstance or tragedy occurred. No Refunds will be processed after May 31st.
